The asset management activities of Freeland Group are carried out by Freeland Partners BV. This company has initiated and is manager of ShoppingParks NV, a non-listed property fund investing in large scale retail properties in the Netherlands.

Since 2006 Freeland Partners has been engaged in investment activities on the Balkan, more specifically in Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia. In joint ventures with local parties Freeland has acquired sites for development of housing projects for the local market. As of now two projects have successfully been completed. In may 2010 an associated company of Freeland Partners has issued a profit sharing bond for the funding of a second development project in Banja Luka, Bosnia.
